Bramhall Estate Agent Leighton Snow sponsors sporty pupils at Ladybrook Primary School

Leighton Snow, the local independent estate agency, is a strong supporter of community causes

SPORTY pupils at Ladybrook Primary School in Bramhall are dressed for success thanks to sponsorship from past pupil and local independent estate agent Leighton Snow. Bramhall-bred Leighton, who attended the school on Gleneagles Close in the 1980s, opened the village’s newest estate agency with partner and agency manager Gemma Lumby in June this year.

The community-spirited pair have been supporting local charities and organisations in and around Bramhall ever since. Working in Stockport and later in London during his 20-year career, Leighton moved back to the area several years ago before making the decision to set up independently.

A strong supporter of community causes, Leighton wanted to give something back to Ladybrook Primary School, which he remembers fondly. Offering to sponsor the school’s football and cross-country teams, Leighton Snow Estate Agents has generously donated a football strip and a set of top-quality runners’ jumpers, printed with Ladybrook Primary School’s name and logo.

Delivering the kits personally, Leighton said: “Our local schools are fundamental to the community – it is a pleasure to sponsor Ladybrook Primary School, which I attended myself many years ago.” “In my youth I was sports-mad. The sports teams at Ladybrook were a great source of fun and friendship, and I’m still in touch with many of the friends I made back then. Through our sponsorship we’re hoping to encourage the next generation of local champions to have fun and achieve their potential, both for themselves and for their school.”

Headmistress of Ladybrook Primary School Deborah Presswood commented: “The children are delighted with their kits; there’s a great sense of team play among our pupils and the printed kit is an outward reflection of this. “We’re grateful to Leighton Snow, an Old Boy himself, for supporting the sporting spirit at Ladybrook and giving our budding footballers and cross country runners the opportunity to take a pride in their school.”

Based on Fir Road, Leighton Snow Estate Agents works to a unique business model that combines the transparent fees of an online agent with the personal service of a bricks and mortar business. Buying and selling property can be stressful, which is why Leighton and Gemma are always on hand to offer advice and support - even outside office hours. Only ever a quick phone call or email away, the pair are passionate about what they do and committed to charging fair fees.

Unlike many other agents, Leighton Snow does not take a percentage of the sale price. Instead, costs are structured into three options, with the basic package priced at just £1,000 upfront. Each package upgrade adds extra features like a printed sales brochure, video tour and unlimited accompanied viewings.

Both the Traditional and Prestige packages are only payable on the sale of the property and the agency is offering to sweeten the deal for the remainder of 2018 with VAT-free sales listings.

Leighton Snow Estate Agents will be getting involved in Fir Road Christmas Markets on Sunday December 9, so pop by to see what’s on offer. For more information, advice, or a free valuation, contact Leighton Snow Estate Agents on 0161 439 4500 or click here to view our properties for sale.
